This call for papers is for an Interdisciplinary Regional Conference in the North East of England at Ustinov College, University of Durham, The Artist under the microscope c. 1950 present day taking place on Saturday 14th November 2009. As we approach the centenary of the birth of Modernism, reflexions about artist are in order.
