The University of Toledo Department of History (http://www.utoledo.edu/llss/history/) invites applicants for a full-time faculty position at the rank of lecturer in Medieval and Early Modern European History (up to 1800). This is a teaching position with an adjustable load of five classes per semester: 5/5 per academic year. Candidates will principally teach survey courses in European and World history in addition to upper division courses in Continental European and British History. Key areas of additional specialization and teaching that we are seeking include Women’s and Gender History, the Middle East, and the Atlantic World.
The selected applicant must have the Ph.D. completed by August 2014. Review of applications will begin on June 15th and continue until the position is filled. The start date for this position is August 18, 2014.
